Official ballot language for the Adams 12 Five Star Schools 2016 bond proposal will be made available soon.
The Board of Education will vote on whether or not to place the $350 million bond proposal on the November ballot at the Wednesday, Aug. 24 board meeting. Regardless of whether or not you have a child in a Five Star school, you are invited to join the meeting to observe or give public comment.
What is the Bond?
The 2016 Bond proposal provides funding to Adams 12 Five Star Schools and will impact every student, school and community. On August 24, the Adams 12 Five Star Schools Board of Education will vote whether to place a $350 million bond on the November ballot at no tax rate increase to residents.
The Five Star community has not approved a bond in 12 years, which means that kindergarteners in 2004 may graduate high school in 2017 without seeing additional investments in their school buildings. Follow the road to the 2016 bond to understand the needs of our district and the proposed investments for your student, school and community.
